‍Vancouver Queer Climbers and Bad Climbers are teaming up to bring you a fruity, fun climb time at Cypress Falls Park!

We recognize that it's difficult to get outside climbing! Who do you go with? What if you're new to climbing or climbing outside? What if you've only climbed indoors? Where do you go?! What do you bring?!

We got you! We're kicking out our new meet-up series, Out Here Meet-Ups: A low-key outdoor bouldering meet-up meant to get you out and with community!

Come be gay on the rocks with us!

Notes:

• We have provided a sliding scale of admission and appreciate any contribution you can make! We  want to make these meet-ups as accessible as possible for everyone, so no worries if you cannot commit to a donation. All donations go towards supporting our respective clubs and keeping our programming going! Thank you!
• We’ll have some crash pads but BYO pad if you can!
• Beginners welcome and encouraged - but this one’s for the girls, gays, and theys ✨ Please only register for yourself so we can get everyone's contact info :) We'll send out more information on meeting place, time, and what to bring closer to the date!
• You are responsible for your own ride - If you are a woman/gnc person, you can join the Bad Climbers Whatsapp group and find a ride!

Bad Climbers Club

In 2019 we ran a Climbing Outdoors 101 workshop that was so successful that we were inspired to start a women/gender-non-conforming (GNC) only climbing club! Climbing is a wonderful sport, but a difficult one to break into especially if you're new. We're a group of climbers that don't take it so seriously. We like to have fun, be supportive no matter what your climbing abilities, and hold space for women and GNC folks in our climbing community through discounted meet-ups, helpful workshops, and good vibes <3

Our organizations are run on the stolen and ancestral territories of four Coast Salish First Nations: The xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and the kʷikʷəƛw̓əm (Kwikwetlem).
