Fight Club: A Boxing Series

The Bad Academy has always been a place where we can gather to learn the things we weren’t taught as young girls. Some of us were never taught how to throw a real punch. How to defend ourselves. How to walk and stand with confidence. How to physically show how powerful we actually are. Now seems like a good time to start with some Bad pals!
We’re so excited to partner up with our friends at Griffins to teach you everything you need to know when it comes to physically stepping into your power. We’ve designed a custom boxing program for the Bad community that will not only teach you all the fundamentals of fighting, but give you a hell of a workout at the same time. The 12,000 sq ft Griffins facility is a sight to be seen located in beautiful North Vancouver, facing out towards the water and just a short walk from the Sea Bus! Ready to fight? Class Schedule:
- Every Sunday in April (April 7, 14, 21, 28) @ 4p PST until 5p PST
- Admission also includes 4 Griffins classes that you can schedule during the week in addition to our Sunday classes so you can apply our learnings on your own time (BoxFit and BoxTech classes are recommended - check out the class schedule here)
Admission includes:
- Gear rentals
- 8 boxing classes total
- An intimate class-size so you get more personalized attention from our amazing instructors
- Use of the Griffins facility that includes showers (bring a towel!) on the day of class
What to bring:
- Please wear regular trainer shoes and workout clothes that you can move freely in!
- Water bottle and towel
- A friend, or make new friends while you’re in class!

Using Griffins' in-house Boxtech® system, we’ve designed a custom boxing program for the Bad community that will not only teach you all fundamental basics of beginner boxing and kick off your journey on the road to fighting, but give you a hell of a workout at the same time. The 12,000 sq ft Griffins facility is a sight to be seen located in beautiful North Vancouver, facing out towards the water and just a short walk from the Sea Bus! Ready to fight? Class Schedule:
- Every Sunday in April (April 7, 14, 21, 28) @ 4p PST until 5p PST
- Additionally, Griffins has created an exclusive membership for Bad attendees to attend additional regular classes during the month of April to apply learnings on their own time. This membership level includes 5 Griffins classes that you can schedule during the week in addition to our Sunday classes (Boxtech® and Boxfit® classes are recommended - check out the class schedule here)
Admission includes:
- Gear rentals
- 9 boxing classes total (working out to less than $28 per class - usually valued at $40 per class)
- An intimate class-size so you get more personalized attention from our amazing instructors
What to bring:
- Please wear regular trainer shoes and workout clothes that you can move freely in!
- Water bottle and towel
- A friend, or make new friends while you’re in class!

Refund Policy: Tickets are transferable, but unfortunately not refundable at The Bad Academy. We're a crazy small organization and operate on razor-thin margins, and as much as we'd like to account for life getting in the way, we have been burned too many times by no-shows, and last-minute refund requests etc. If you'd like to transfer your ticket to a friend, please email us at hello@thebadacademy.com with the name and email of the person taking your place, and we'll make sure to make the appropriate changes!
