Ready to get your hands dirty? Our first ever Throwing Mud 101 workshop is here! Over the course of this 6-week workshop series, we're going to teach you everything you need to know to begin wheel throwing and creating amazing pottery pieces*! Join us with other Bad Potters for this workshop series that'll get you addicted to pot in no time ;)

Course outline

Week 1 : Prep + Intro to throwing

Week 2 : Trimming + more throwing

Week 3: Hand building

Week 4 : Break for firing! (okay to miss class)

Week 5: Under Glazing + Glazing

Week 6: Finishing touches + grad party (okay to miss class)


*We are expecting each student will be able to make at least 7 pieces each over the 6 week period.

About The Instructor(s)

Lee-Anne Styan (She/Her) has been passionate about all things crafty her whole life. As a professional seamstress in the film industry for almost 10 years, she decided to pick up pottery in recent years and her love for ceramics grows everyday.  She believes pottery is an amazing creative outlet that anyone can get into and she's super stoked to share her knowledge and get more people hooked on pottery.
